You may already be aware of the Notion Calendar news, but just in case, here we explain what it is and provide you with three amazing use cases 🎁

What's Notion Calendar?

Notion's calendar is a new app in the Notion world! It allows you to visualize dates and deadlines in an easy-to-understand format.

It can be used for anything from tracking project deadlines to scheduling meetings or events. The calendar can be customized to display by day, week, or month, and you can add detailed notes to each entry.

And the best part is that it integrates with Notion databases, allowing you to link pages or databases directly to calendar entries. It also integrates with Google Calendar, which means that from now on Notion Calendar can be the real center of your date-meetings-related work.

Use case 1: Airbnb Management 🏠

If you manage your short-term rentals in Notion, you definitely need to try this workflow:

Connect your Airbnb Calendar to Google Calendar
Connect your Google Calendar to the new Notion Calendar - You can connect as many accounts as you wish, the idea is to connect a calendar for each of your units (See pic Booking Apartment Moonlight)
Connect your Tasks database in Notion to your Notion Calendar (See yellow task database) this will allow you to have your everyday tasks in a full view and easy access to your Notion page from the right side.
Connect your Operations database (Repairs/Cleanings) to your Notion Calendar (See purple ops database) this will allow you to have your rental operations in a full view and easy access to your Notion page from the right side.

Use case 2: Content Calendar 🏠

Use Notion Calendar as a center for your Content Management

Create a Content creation database in Notion (Green elements)
Connect a view of the Content database to Notion
Manage your publications from Notion Calendar - No more missed posts!!
You can also connect your tasks database and have a centralized view on Notion Calendar.

Use case 3: Productivity System 🏠

Combine Notion Calendar with the PARA productivity system.

Connect your Tasks database from your PARA system to Notion Calendar. Use the tasks database to block some of your time / or tasks you need to complete during the day.
Use the Daily view in Notion Calendar to see a full overview of your day.
Option 1: Add your Projects database to the workflow as "full day events" to keep a focus of your active projects.
Option 2: Create a "Block database" (Purple element) in your PARA system and connect it to Notion Calendar. Use it to add daily blocks during your day so you can have a specific focus for your days and concentrate on what matters.
